What is hope? It’s the power that gives a person confidence to step out and try. It has the power to change your mind and you’re thinking and produce new optimism where none existed. It’s the intangible quality of human existence that has the power to revive and give you the strength to do what you need in spite of the circumstances.
Sometimes is hard to have hope, to believe that the pasture is greener on the other side. Keep in mind that Hope is the engine that determines your attitude, and your attitude determines your altitude. Hope gives you the ability to open your eyes and ears to the world around you and help you become a recognizer of new opportunities.
Always remember, that worrying about something that has not happened yet, is a misuse of the imagination. If you spend and excessive amount of time imagining the bad things that can happen in your life, you will become a person that is problem conscious, not solution conscious. Stop worrying and start expecting. Imagining the bad things that may or may not happen in your future, will make you lose sight of all the good things happening around you. None of those bad things that we imagine are real, until we make it happen with the worrying and thinking.
Start imagining that only good things will happen to you; regardless of your present situation, if you are going to spend time thinking about what may or not may happen, make it a point to think about positive things; this will provide some sort of peace of mind and train your mind to be optimistic. It takes the same effort to imagine good things or bad things, it is your choice; choose wisely.
Positive thinking will not allow you to do everything, but it will allow you to do everything better than negative thinking; change starts with you, it does not happen until you do.
