Glad to see you finally made a decision and are now in the what to do next, stage. The most important step you have taken is to get out of your comfort zone and take action, but now what? First of all, feel your emotions, let them be your guide, explore your passion; what do you like? What makes you tingle inside? Take inspired action and let go of the outcome; Once you start sharing your passion, learning the process, the results will come, just let it play out.
You first, must determine your ideal work environment; nothing is worse than having to go to a place daily that you either not comfortable or that you hate. Need to find a connection between your skills and values, the more your heart is into, the better and faster the results will appear. Ask questions from the people that have gone ahead of you, let them tell their story, you will be amazed with the things you learn.
Learn about yourself; ask yourself questions like, “what is my purpose?” “What am I doing with my life?” The answers and solutions we seek will vary according to where we are in our lives. Not having what you want is a lot better than knowing exactly what you want but not being able to get it, at least you have hope. Finding that thing that motivates you can help you clear your thoughts and improve your overall attitude.
Wake your conscious mind, nobody is going to live your life for you. You have to do it yourself, keeping in mind that self-pity is a dead end road. We have to wake our conscious mind to be able to accept reality and embrace change.
In order to reprogram your mind and stop saying, ” I don’t know what to do with my life”, set yourself a 15-day challenge; setting up a deadline and star by taking small steps to create powerful habits. Setting up a deadline has a powerful effect on motivation; the self-imposed deadlines can reduce procrastination and lead to better decision-making.
With a purpose and a vision you will not be paralyzed by the fear of not knowing what to do. You will seize it as an opportunity to experience life. Start your new life by setting short term goals; still set the long term goals but with short term in progress, once you start to achieve the short term, the long term will happen without you even noticing. Your mind has been reprogrammed. Be ambitious, put your head down and work with pride on whatever is in front of you; you never know where you might end up.
Make sure that you check the list of your written needs, wants and wishes daily. Set up pictures of your dream items, –cars, houses, jewelry; look at your board and transport yourself there; driving that luxury car into that beautiful home, explore it, live the dream in your mind. You are now sending a strong message to your subconscious mind. If this is done daily, your subconscious mind will not have other choice but to provide everything. Thoughts become things, choose them wisely.
Our thoughts can be so negative that if left unchecked, could be quite dangerous; you need to be able to control your thinking. Create a barrier in your mind, put it up as a block to negative thinking. It can be done, I used it all the time. If overwhelmed by those thoughts, listen to music that reminds you a beautiful time, look at pictures of your loved ones, watch a comedy, anything that helps to put you back on the positive thinking side. Your mind will answer most questions, if you learn to relax and wait for the answer. Just remember, whatever happens in your future, it comes from within yourself. Snap out if and make happen.
