It takes discipline to be able to control all those negative thoughts that seem to pop up out of nowhere; it takes discipline to conquer all the fears that ours minds make up. Take note, those fears are not real. It is your mind’s mechanism trying to protect us from failure, disappointments, embarrassment. Have you ever had a problem that in your mind was huge? Just to find out it was nothing at all; your mind going wild about things that may happen or not, but making you worry and so concerned that sometimes we become jumpy with our loved ones, lose your appetite and so on. Everything about a made up fear that never materialized.
Discipline is the human awareness for the need of action.
The opposite of discipline is procrastination; in which a voice in your head tells you to leave everything for tomorrow or the next day. On the other hand, discipline tells you to take action right away. Which side are you on? Honestly?
We must become warriors fighting for our divine rights, fighting to be better than yesterday. Start to become discipline about everything by getting used to achieve small successes. We must become the person that is willing and able to go above and beyond. Life begins at the end of your comfort zone, at the end of your ego.
One thing that we must never do, is think less about ourselves; never belittle yourself, never self sabotage yourself; our habits are created by doing the same thing over and over again; to the point that we don’t even think about it, we perform some tasks without thought, our habits are engraved in our subconscious mind; so if you belittle yourself or others, after time, these negative thoughts become part of ourselves and eventually become a limiting belief. Do not do it. You are God’s creation.
Always choose self esteem over self-doubt; no fear, no hesitation and no doubt. Free yourself from the debilitating disease that is fear; it has manipulated us too long; once we conquer fear with love, faith and self belief, there will no longer be hesitation or doubt. Be discipline. Become disciplined.
